Blackened Snapper

Ingredient List:

  • Your choice of compound butter
  • Lemon
  • Blackened seasoning
  • Cast iron grate (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Broiler for 5 minutes
  2. Add blackened seasoning on both sides of snapper
  3. Add snapper in broiler and raise the grate 3 quarters of the way up
  4. Cook for 2 minutes on each side
  5. Add butter on top of the fish for the last minute of broiling to let it melt onto the snapper
  6. Remove the snapper, squeeze fresh lemon on top
