New Orleans BBQ Shrimp & Street Corn

Ingredients:

1 lb peeled shrimp

3 garlic cloves

Hot sauce of your choice

Lemon juice 

Worcesterchire Sauce

Black Pepper

Creole Seasoning

Salt

Butter

Cilantro

6 ears corn, fresh on the cob

Lime Juice

Mayonnaise

Cayenne Pepper

Chili Powder

Vegetable oil

Queso Fresco

Sour Cream

 

Instructions for Street Corn:

Mix corn in Vegetable oil, 1 tbsp lime juice, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, a hit of cayenne pepper, 1 tsp chili power, salt, pepper, 1/4c quest fresco and 2 tbsp of sour cream. Move into a cast iron skillet into your Samson and lower the rack all the way to the bottom. Char for 3-5 minutes. Add fresh cilantro to finish it and set aside while you make your shrimp!

 

Instructions for New Orleans Shrimp:

Combine Ingredients into a large bowl:

4 tbsp melted butter, 3 garlic cloves minced, 1/4c hot sauce, 1 squeezed lemon, 1/4c Worcestershire sauce and a hit of salt & pepper. Toss Shrimp into the bowl and coat. 

Transfer the shrimp and left over sauce into a cast iron and place on the Samson with the rack all the way at the bottom. Cook 2-3 minutes per side, take off and rest.

 

To finish off this dish, add your street corn on the side of the Shrimp and enjoy the delicious combination of the two and all of its flavors!
